Kim continues to improve and will continue at the facility

Eating farmer market’s veggie chicken noodle soup I made for him, one of his favorites

I just got some great news – Kim continues to improve and has now been approved thorough October 7. This schedule changes based on whether or not he’s making weekly improvement. If he stops improving, he’ll be sent home.

Though this is great news, I know that he would love to be home. However, he has stopped asking me to bring him home, buy him a ribeye stake, and wine for a scrumptious dinner 😮. I think he’s gotten used to the place.

    Hi Maria, this is such encouraging news! Kim must be working very hard; and all the love, support, and stimulation that you provide for him is clearly paying off! I hope you will indulge me as I put my social worker hat on for a moment~I am wondering whether you are getting any advice on how to prepare for when it’s time for Kim to come home. Will you need to make some accommodations to your bathroom for bathing or toileting? Will Kim require a hospital bed? How about a wheelchair ramp? I don’t want to overwhelm you, but at the same time I don’t want you to be left with little time to prepare for
