The cat at the Inn we stayed at in Geneva, NY
Kim is very fond of dogs and tolerates cats mostly because of how much I love them. I found it very curious that one of the Inn’s cats would not lose sight of him and spent an entire afternoon and night sleeping by his side when she escaped her sleeping area. The owner told me that the cat is very sensitive, loves people, and tends to know when someone is sick.
It turns out that there’s some evidence that cats can smell changes in the human body caused by illnesses. They can also understand body cues and facial expressions. The links below provide interesting information.
