Sunday before the start of the third treatment

By the third week after the second treatment ended, Kim had somewhat recovered after declining significantly. He was eating well and, though disoriented, his mood was fairly upbeat.  Juice was substituted for wine in wine glasses, as he can no longer have any alcohol – only a small quantity in  very special ocassions.

Unfortunatly, as soon as the third treatment started, his strenght, cognition, and mental status declined rapidly. By the end of the week of going to the hospital daily, he could hardly walk without swaying sideways and he was extremely disoriented as well.
